What is life coaching? A life coach will help you boost your life in some way. It might be focussed on a specific goal, or larger life aspirations.
What is Instinct and Values Coaching? My coaching centres around you being you. And that involves listening to your instinct, a skill many of us have lost as we learnt to navigate all the social rules and expectations put upon us. It also involves knowing your values, and how to harness your values as a great source of strength and motivation. I share practical tools to help you feel the effortless power of listening to your instinct and aligning with your values.
Is it like a psychologist? In very brief terms, psychologists work with illnesses and assist with recovery, life coaches work with boosting wellness and discovery; discovering your true values, discovering how to find more joy and purpose, or discovering how to obtain your dream career, relationship, or life!
How to choose a life coach? Life coaches come in many different varieties but there is always one consistent factor – you, the client. Make sure you find a life coach that feels right to you.
My style of coaching values finding your inner-truth, and gently supporting you to courageously remove barriers that have kept you stuck, so you are free to create the life of your dreams.
What does a typical session involve? As the client, you are able to set the agenda for each session. We might discuss something that has you feeling stuck today or we might refer back to our session plan to track progress against a long-term goal.
We will talk about feelings and thought - a lot. Often, if not always, we are held stuck by out-dated thoughts that used to serve us but no longer do. There are many ways we can do this and getting unstuck and a sense of freedom is the result.
Are you the right coach for me? Great question! Coaches can specialise in a range of areas. I work with motivated women who are feeling stuck in a certain area of their life and are ready to take action but are unsure of their next move (unsure what the move is, and/or how to take it). They are ready for change, even if it feels a little scary.

How are sessions conducted? Where are you based? Sessions are conducted via Zoom, so you can join a session from where ever you are. I have clients from all over the world but I'm based in Canberra, Australia.
My sessions are held during Australian business hours. If you're based in the US this maps to afternoon and evening sessions (great if you'd prefer coaching after finishing work for the day).
